Yes. A lot of our bookings are last minute passing custom. In busy times some sailings do get heavily booked so advance booking is recommended to avoid disappointment.
Please see our prices and booking page.
30 minutes prior to the cruise time to check in but during peek dates (July-August) please allow 45 minutes as car parks are extremely busy.

No, we venture to the Atlantic side of the islands with a focus on the wildlife and scenery. There is a frequent ferry service running from the harbour to Caldey island, weather permitting. You are able to buy tickets in the habrour. The island is closed on a Sunday.
Dress for the weather, bearing in mind it is usually cooler out at sea compared to the on the land.
The main reason for cancellations is weather over which we alas have no control. If the sailing is cancelled for any reason we will offer you a full refund or an alternative sailing (your choice). See our refunds and complaints page for full details.
We wanted to add this to our operating T and C’s to put our customers mind at ease when booking.
If you arrive 30 mins early and the conditions are out of your comfort zone, then yes. Bearing in mind we do not operate in adverse weather conditions or sea state, we are in the good times business and don’t want our customers to feel out of their comfort zone. If you’re anxious or worried about being on the sea or have young children, arrive early and talk to us. We are here to help and to make sure you are comfortable. We want you to come back and be happy to recommend us. This will however be at our discretion to avoid abuse of this offer. It’s raining isn’t a reason we will accept!
Occasionally and only if you have booked on Seal Safari. We do reserve the right to do this for operational reasons i.e. The weather may suit the larger vessel, Island Ranger better. If this is the case you will receive a a refund for the difference.
The harbour is used at high tide and access is down some metal steps with a handrail. The walk to the end of the pier is app 100m from the booking office. At low tide, a landing stage is operated. The walk to this is across soft sand and is app 150-200m from the booking office
If you have any access difficulties, Island Ranger is a straight walk on platform with no risen step onto the boat although there are harbour steps to meet the boat.
We assist many people with walking difficulties on our cruises each summer. Vessels are located down a minimum of 5 steps on every cruise. Whilst there is a good hand rail and our staff are always available to lend a hand, we advise you to come and have a look at the access if you are unsure. With the tidal range in Tenby averaging 7 meters, the number of steps will have changed upon your return. Less or more depending on an in-coming or outgoing tide.
We carry babies right down to babes in arms. Our biggest concern for smalls is wind chill so please make sure that they are wrapped up. We recommend Island Ranger for younger kids as there is a large cabin onboard, toilets and given her size she is very stable. Having said that, lots of babies have had a nap on Seal Safari!
We LOVE dogs! Some people don’t..
Island Ranger - The aft deck is dog friendly but no dogs on the top or foredeck please.
Seal Safari - dogs permitted, crew allocate seats on the day. Also, please take Rex for a ‘stroll’ prior to boarding. If there’s an accident, we will provide you with a bucket and mop!
Plenty of space on Island Ranger and for younger children this is the boat we recommend due to her size and stability, and toilets.
Island ranger is licensed for 120 but we carry a maximum of 90 so there is plenty of room aboard.
Seal Safari is licensed for 23
Topaz is licensed for 12
Up to 6 months. We may give you an approximate departure time that will be confirmed several days before departure.
We carry physically and other disabled people, pregnant ladies to 7 months. Our general rule is that you must let us know in the office that you have a condition. This then will be relayed to the boat and the shore contact may give advice. Ultimately though, unless there is an act of negligence, the decision to partake in the activity is that of the client and by partaking they consent.
Go to Book now and before you purchase a ticket you will be asked if you have read these. There is a link there to view them.
Our vessels are inspected annually by the Marine Coastguard Agency and meet all regulations. Skippers are qualified and all staff undergo regular training.
There are plenty of car parks in and around town. Most are a 10 minute ish walk to the harbour where parking is not available, a few disabled badge holders spots only. The town is pedestrainised for most of the summer so leave plenty of time to find a spot and stroll in.
